The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450 4MATIC is a luxury all-electric SUV that combines flagship comfort, advanced technology and impressive long-distance capability. As the SUV counterpart to the EQS saloon, it offers a commanding driving position, optional seven-seat practicality and the premium refinement expected from Mercedes-Benz.

Powered by a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (4MATIC) system producing 360 hp (265 kW) and 800 Nm of torque, the EQS SUV delivers smooth, effortless performance. The large luxury SUV accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in approximately 6.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 130 mph (210 km/h).

The EQS SUV 450 4MATIC is equipped with a large 118.0 kWh usable battery (125 kWh gross in the latest specification) and offers up to 380 miles (611 km) WLTP range. Real-world mixed driving range is typically around 325 miles (523 km), making it one of the longest-range luxury electric SUVs available.

Charging performance is impressive for such a large battery. The vehicle supports up to 200 kW DC rapid charging, allowing a 10-80% recharge in approximately 30-33 minutes. Home and destination charging are supported at up to 22 kW AC, allowing a full charge in around 6.5 hours on suitable three-phase infrastructure.

Inside, the EQS SUV focuses on comfort and luxury, with seating for five or seven occupants, premium materials and cutting-edge infotainment technology. Cargo capacity ranges from 565 litres to as much as 2,100 litres with the rear seats folded, making it exceptionally practical for a luxury SUV.

The EQS SUV also offers substantial towing capability, with a braked towing capacity of 1,800 kg, making it suitable for trailers and leisure equipment.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV 450 4MATIC blends limousine-like comfort, impressive range and family-friendly practicality, making it a strong alternative to the BMW iX, Volvo EX90 and Tesla Model X.
