About the Land Rover Range Rover LWB EV550

The Land Rover Range Rover LWB EV550 (MY27) is the long-wheelbase version of the all-electric Range Rover, combining flagship luxury, exceptional refinement and genuine off-road capability. As the most spacious electric Range Rover, the LWB model focuses on rear-seat comfort while retaining the performance and all-terrain credentials expected from the brand.

Powered by a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system producing 550 hp (405 kW) and 850 Nm of torque, the EV550 delivers effortless performance despite its size. The vehicle accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in approximately 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h).

The EV550 uses a large 118.5 kWh usable battery (125 kWh gross) and operates on an advanced 800V electrical architecture. Land Rover targets a WLTP range of up to 380 miles (611 km), making it one of the longest-range luxury electric SUVs available.

Charging capability is among the best in the segment. The battery supports up to 350 kW DC rapid charging, enabling a 10-80% recharge in approximately 23 minutes. AC charging is available at up to 22 kW, allowing convenient overnight charging at home or at premium destination chargers.

The Long Wheelbase configuration offers significantly enhanced rear legroom and is expected to be available with premium executive seating options. Adaptive air suspension, Terrain Response systems and advanced torque distribution ensure the EV550 remains capable both on and off road.

The Land Rover Range Rover LWB EV550 (MY27) sits at the very top of the premium electric SUV market and competes directly with the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Maybach 680, Bentley Torcal, Cadillac Escalade IQ and other ultra-luxury electric SUVs. Its combination of luxury, charging performance, towing capability and off-road credentials makes it one of the most versatile flagship EVs available.
