Jaecoo 5 EV

The Jaecoo 5 EV is a compact electric SUV that combines contemporary styling, family-friendly practicality and competitive pricing. Positioned as an affordable alternative to established electric crossovers, the Jaecoo 5 EV offers a useful balance of range, performance and technology for everyday driving.

Powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 211 hp (155 kW) and 288 Nm of torque, the Jaecoo 5 EV delivers smooth performance and responsive acceleration. The front-wheel-drive powertrain enables a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of 7.7 seconds and a top speed of 109 mph (175 km/h).

The vehicle is equipped with a 58.9 kWh usable battery (approximately 61 kWh gross) using LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) chemistry. Official WLTP range is up to 250 miles (402 km), making it suitable for daily commuting and regular family use.

Charging performance includes support for up to 130 kW DC rapid charging, allowing a 10-80% recharge in approximately 33 minutes. Home charging is supported through an 11 kW AC onboard charger, providing convenient overnight charging.

The Jaecoo 5 EV offers a spacious five-seat cabin and practical SUV proportions. Boot capacity is reported at 480 litres in EV Database data, making it a practical option for families and everyday use. The vehicle also offers a towing capacity of up to 1,250 kg on certain market specifications.
