About the BMW iX2 xDrive30
The BMW iX2 xDrive30 (MY26) is BMW’s all-electric compact coupé-SUV, combining sporty styling, premium cabin quality and all-wheel-drive performance. The MY26 update brings improved efficiency and range while retaining the dynamic driving characteristics associated with the BMW brand.
Powered by a dual-motor xDrive All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, the iX2 xDrive30 produces 313 hp (230 kW) and 494 Nm of torque. Performance is brisk, with 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) achieved in 5.6 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited to 112 mph (180 km/h).
Energy is supplied by a 65.2 kWh usable battery (66.5 kWh gross), delivering up to 245 miles (395 km) WLTP range in MY26 specification. Real-world mixed driving range is typically around 245 miles (395 km), with considerably more achievable during lower-speed urban driving.
Charging is supported via 11 kW AC charging and up to 130 kW DC rapid charging. A typical 10-80% charge takes around 30 minutes, while battery preconditioning and Plug & Charge support help maximise charging convenience and efficiency.
Practicality remains strong despite the coupé-inspired roofline. The iX2 offers a 525-litre boot, expanding to 1,400 litres with the rear seats folded. The vehicle can also tow up to 1,200 kg braked, adding further versatility.
Inside, the iX2 features BMW’s latest curved display system, premium materials and advanced connectivity, positioned as a more style-focused alternative to the closely related iX1.
The BMW iX2 xDrive30 (MY26) blends the practicality of a family SUV with coupe-inspired styling, premium materials and strong all-weather performance, making it a compelling rival to the Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback, Mercedes-Benz EQA and Volvo EC40.
