About the Alpine A390 GT

The Alpine A390 GT is Alpine’s first high-performance electric fastback crossover, blending the brand’s sports car heritage with everyday practicality. Positioned between a sporty hatchback and an SUV, the A390 GT delivers impressive performance, long-range capability and distinctive French design while remaining true to Alpine’s focus on driving enjoyment.

Powered by a sophisticated three-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, the A390 GT produces up to 401 hp (295 kW) and 661 Nm of torque. The setup uses one motor at the front and two motors at the rear to enhance traction and handling precision. Performance is strong, with 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) achieved in just 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h).

The vehicle is equipped with an 89 kWh usable battery (94 kWh gross) and offers up to 345 miles (555 km) WLTP range, making it suitable for both spirited driving and long-distance touring. Alpine has focused on balancing performance and efficiency to maximise real-world usability.

Charging is supported at up to 150 kW DC rapid charging, allowing a 10-80% recharge in around 30 minutes, while 11 kW AC charging is provided for home and workplace charging. Battery preconditioning is included to optimise charging performance in varying weather conditions.

Inside, the A390 GT offers seating for five passengers with a practical 532-litre boot, expanding significantly with the rear seats folded. Despite its sporting character, it remains a genuinely practical family EV.

The A390 GT competes with premium electric performance crossovers such as the Porsche Macan 4 Electric, Polestar 4, CUPRA Tavascan VZ and BMW iX2 xDrive30
