Geely EX5 SE

The Geely EX5 is a modern all-electric family SUV that combines impressive practicality, strong equipment levels and competitive value. Developed as Geely’s global electric SUV, the EX5 is designed to compete with established family EVs while offering advanced technology, a spacious interior and efficient electric performance. Built on Geely’s dedicated electric architecture, it delivers a refined driving experience suited to both urban commuting and family travel.

Powered by a single front-mounted electric motor producing 218 hp (160 kW) and 320 Nm of torque, the EX5 delivers responsive acceleration and smooth everyday performance. The front-wheel-drive powertrain enables the SUV to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds, while top speed reaches approximately 109 mph (175 km/h).

The EX5 uses Geely’s latest battery technology, featuring a 60.2 kWh usable LFP battery (62.0 kWh gross). Official WLTP range is up to 267 miles (430 km), helping make the vehicle practical for both daily use and longer journeys. Energy efficiency is rated at approximately 14.0 kWh/100 km, making the EX5 one of the more efficient SUVs in its segment.

Charging capability includes 100-120 kW DC rapid charging, allowing the battery to charge from approximately 30% to 80% in around 20 minutes under ideal conditions. An 11 kW AC onboard charger supports convenient home and workplace charging.

Inside, the EX5 offers a spacious five-seat cabin with premium features including a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.2-inch digital instrument display, panoramic glass roof, heated and ventilated front seats, and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance technologies. Practicality is enhanced by generous passenger space and a useful luggage compartment.

The Geely EX5 is positioned as a value-focused alternative to rivals such as the Škoda Elroq, Omoda E5 and BYD Atto 3, offering an attractive balance of range, technology and affordability.
