BYD ATTO 2 64.8 kWh

The BYD ATTO 2 64.8 kWh is a compact electric SUV designed to bridge the gap between the smaller Dolphin and the larger Atto 3. Built on BYD’s advanced e-Platform and featuring the company’s renowned Blade Battery technology, it combines practicality, efficiency and strong value for money in the growing compact SUV segment.

Powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing approximately 218 hp (160 kW) and 330 Nm of torque, the ATTO 2 delivers smooth front-wheel-drive performance suitable for both urban and motorway driving. Acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) is expected to be around 7-8 seconds, providing brisk everyday performance.

The vehicle features a 64.8 kWh Blade Battery using BYD’s lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. This battery technology is known for its durability, thermal stability and long service life. WLTP range is expected to be around 260-290 miles (420-470 km) depending on specification and wheel size.

Charging is supported through both AC and DC charging systems, with rapid charging enabling convenient long-distance travel. The Blade Battery architecture helps maximise safety while maintaining competitive charging performance.

Inside, the ATTO 2 offers a modern cabin featuring BYD’s signature rotating touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display and a spacious five-seat layout. The compact SUV body style provides practicality for family use while remaining easy to manoeuvre in urban environments.
