Vauxhall Mokka Electric GSE

The Vauxhall Mokka Electric GSE is the most powerful electric Vauxhall ever produced, transforming the stylish Mokka Electric into a genuine performance-focused EV. Inspired by Vauxhall’s rally programme and developed alongside the Mokka GSE Rally race car, the GSE combines hot hatch performance with the practicality and elevated driving position of a compact SUV. It revives the famous GSE badge, standing for Grand Sport Electric, and marks the return of a serious performance Vauxhall for the electric era.

At its heart is a 281 hp (207 kW) electric motor producing 345 Nm of torque, delivering 0-62 mph in just 5.9 seconds. Unlike many performance EVs that simply add more power, the Mokka GSE receives substantial chassis upgrades, including a Torsen limited-slip differential, motorsport-tuned steering, revised suspension, stiffer springs and large 380 mm Alcon brakes. These modifications help provide sharper handling and improved traction, giving the car a more engaging and dynamic driving experience.

The exterior receives a distinctive makeover with bespoke GSE bumpers, aerodynamic 20-inch alloy wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, yellow brake calipers and aggressive styling details inspired by Vauxhall’s motorsport heritage. Inside, Alcantara-trimmed sports seats, unique GSE branding and a driver-focused cockpit create a noticeably sportier atmosphere than the standard Mokka Electric.

Power comes from a 54 kWh battery pack with around 50.8 kWh of usable capacity, delivering a WLTP range of up to 209 miles. While the range is lower than many family-focused EVs, the emphasis is firmly on performance rather than outright efficiency. The Mokka GSE supports rapid DC charging at up to 100-107 kW, allowing a 10-80% recharge in approximately 27-28 minutes under ideal conditions.
