The Renault 5 E‑Tech 52kWh 150hp (MY24‑26) brings the iconic Renault 5 into the electric age, combining retro-inspired styling with modern EV technology. Built on Renault’s dedicated AmpR Small platform, the compact hatchback is designed to offer an engaging driving experience, strong efficiency and everyday practicality.

Powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 150 hp (110 kW) and 245 Nm of torque, the Renault 5 E‑Tech delivers responsive performance suited to both urban and motorway driving. It accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 8.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 93 mph (150 km/h).

The vehicle features a 52 kWh usable battery and offers up to 252 miles (405 km) WLTP range, while EV Database estimates a real-world mixed range of around 205 miles (330 km). This provides a strong balance between affordability and everyday usability.

Charging performance is competitive for the segment. The Renault 5 supports up to 100-101 kW DC rapid charging, allowing a 15-80% charge in around 30 minutes, while an 11 kW AC onboard charger comes as standard. Battery preconditioning is also available when using navigation.

Inside, the Renault 5 offers seating for five occupants and a practical 326-litre boot, expanding to over 1,100 litres with the rear seats folded. Despite its compact footprint, clever packaging maximises interior space.
