Renault 5 E-Tech EV40 95hp

The Renault 5 E‑Tech EV40 95hp is the entry-level version of Renault’s all-electric supermini, combining retro-inspired styling with modern EV technology. Designed primarily for urban and suburban driving, it delivers affordable electric motoring in a compact package while retaining the character of the iconic original Renault 5.

Powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 70 kW (95 hp) and 215 Nm of torque, the EV40 is focused on efficiency rather than outright performance. With front-wheel drive and a compact footprint, it is well suited to city driving, tight parking spaces and everyday commuting.

The EV40 uses a 40 kWh usable battery and delivers up to 186 miles (300 km) WLTP range, providing enough range for most daily journeys while keeping purchase costs lower than larger battery alternatives. Charging is supported via an 11 kW AC onboard charger, allowing convenient home and workplace charging.

Inside, the Renault 5 offers seating for five and a practical 326-litre boot, combining compact exterior dimensions with useful interior space. Its modern cabin features digital displays, connected services and driver assistance technologies typically found in larger vehicles.
