At the heart of the Polestar 5 is a powerful dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing an impressive 550 kW and 812 Nm of torque. With instant electric power delivered to all four wheels, the sleek electric hatchback accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of approximately 155 mph, offering performance that comfortably rivals many traditional high-performance grand tourers.

Power is supplied by a substantial 106 kWh usable battery pack, designed to provide both strong performance and impressive long-distance usability. EV Database estimates a practical real-world driving range of around 360 miles, making the Polestar 5 equally at home on daily commutes and cross-country journeys. Official WLTP figures may vary depending on market specification, equipment levels, wheel configurations, and driving conditions.

Charging capabilities are equally impressive. The Polestar 5 supports Type 2 AC charging for home and workplace charging, alongside ultra-rapid CCS DC charging at up to 350 kW. Under ideal conditions, a typical rapid-charging session can take approximately 22 minutes, allowing drivers to recover significant range in the time it takes to enjoy a short break.
