About the Nissan Pixo Electric
The all-new Nissan Pixo marks the return of the Pixo name as a compact electric city car developed specifically for Europe. Sharing its platform and core technology with the Renault Twingo E‑Tech and Dacia Spring, the new Pixo focuses on affordability, urban practicality and low running costs.
The Pixo is powered by a 60 kW (80 hp) front-mounted electric motor driving the front wheels. Nissan quotes a WLTP range of approximately 161 miles (259 km) from its compact 27.5 kWh LFP battery, making it ideal for commuting, city driving and short regional journeys.
Unlike many budget EVs, the Pixo includes 50 kW DC rapid charging as standard across the range, allowing the battery to charge from 15% to 80% in approximately 28 minutes. An 11 kW AC onboard charger is also included.
The design takes inspiration from retro 8-bit gaming graphics, with pixel-themed lighting signatures, wheel designs and styling details. Nissan has also introduced a distinctive “robot face” front-end treatment to differentiate the car from its Renault and Dacia siblings.
Despite measuring less than 3.8 metres long, the Pixo offers surprising practicality. The cabin seats four adults, features independent sliding rear seats, and provides a 356-litre boot, including dedicated space for charging cables.
