About the Honda e Advance
The Honda e Advance is a distinctive retro-inspired electric city car that blends classic Honda styling with advanced technology and premium urban mobility. Designed primarily for city life, the Honda e became one of the most characterful EVs on the market, combining compact dimensions, rear-wheel-drive handling and a futuristic digital cabin.
Powered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing 154 hp (113 kW) and 315 Nm of torque, the Honda e Advance delivers responsive performance and agile handling. Unlike many small EVs, power is sent to the rear wheels, providing a more engaging driving experience. The car accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 8.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h).
The Honda e Advance features a 28.5 kWh usable battery (35.5 kWh gross) and offers up to 138 miles (222 km) WLTP range. While range is modest compared with modern long-range EVs, the lightweight design and compact size make it exceptionally well suited to urban commuting and short-distance travel.
Charging capability includes support for up to 50 kW DC rapid charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10-80% in around 30 minutes under ideal conditions. AC charging is supported at up to 6.6 kW, making overnight home charging convenient.
Inside, the Honda e Advance stands out with its full-width digital dashboard incorporating multiple display screens, camera-based side mirrors and premium materials. Despite its compact footprint, the cabin feels airy and technologically advanced, creating a unique ownership experience rarely found in this segment.
The Honda e Advance prioritises style, innovation and driving enjoyment over maximum range. Its combination of retro-modern design, rear-wheel-drive dynamics and premium technology has helped it achieve cult status among EV enthusiasts.
