About the Bentley Torcal

The Bentley Torcal is Bentley’s first fully electric vehicle and the most powerful production Bentley ever built. Unveiled globally in September 2026, the Torcal introduces a new era for the British luxury manufacturer, combining handcrafted luxury, cutting-edge EV technology and extraordinary performance in a five-metre luxury SUV.

Built and engineered at Bentley’s Crewe headquarters, the Torcal is available in standard and performance-oriented Torcal S forms. The standard model produces 821 hp (604 kW) and 1,194 Nm of torque, while the range-topping Torcal S delivers up to 888 hp (653 kW) and 1,350 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Bentley ever produced.

Performance is truly exceptional. The Torcal S accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds, while the standard Torcal completes the sprint in 3.4 seconds. Top speed reaches 162 mph (260 km/h) in the S variant.

The vehicle is powered by a 113 kWh usable battery pack operating on an 800V electrical architecture. Bentley claims up to 375 miles (600 km) WLTP range, placing the Torcal among the longest-range luxury electric SUVs on the market.

Charging performance is equally impressive, with support for up to 400 kW DC rapid charging. Bentley states the battery can recharge from 10-80% in approximately 16-20 minutes, adding around 100 miles (160 km) of range in as little as seven minutes.

Inside, the Torcal blends Bentley craftsmanship with advanced digital technology. A curved OLED central display, handcrafted veneers, premium leather upholstery and sustainable materials create a distinctly Bentley atmosphere. The SUV also features intelligent wellness technologies and a unique Bentley Dynamic Symphony sound system.

Practicality remains strong despite the focus on luxury and performance. The Torcal offers a 460-litre rear boot, a 90-litre front trunk (frunk) and standard all-wheel drive. Rear-wheel steering and fully active suspension are included to improve handling and manoeuvrability.

The Bentley Torcal combines hypercar-level acceleration, long-distance electric touring capability and traditional Bentley craftsmanship, positioning it as a direct rival to the Range Rover Electric, Rolls-Royce Spectre and future ultra-luxury electric SUVs.
