Toyota bZ4X (bZ) FWD 73 kWh

The Toyota bZ4X FWD 73 kWh is Toyota’s flagship front-wheel-drive electric SUV, designed to combine long-range capability, practicality and Toyota’s reputation for reliability. Built on the dedicated e-TNGA electric platform, the bZ4X delivers a spacious interior, comfortable ride and improved efficiency compared with earlier electric offerings. Its aerodynamic styling and family-friendly character make it a strong contender in the mid-size electric SUV segment.

Powered by a single front-mounted electric motor producing approximately 224 hp (165 kW) and 266 Nm of torque, the bZ4X FWD provides smooth acceleration and predictable handling. Performance is well suited to everyday driving, with 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) achieved in around 7.4 seconds and a top speed of approximately 100 mph (160 km/h).

The vehicle is equipped with a 73 kWh battery pack and offers up to 356 miles (573 km) WLTP range, depending on specification and wheel size. Toyota’s latest battery management system is designed to maximise efficiency, durability and charging performance while helping to maintain long-term battery health.

Charging performance has been significantly improved, with support for up to 150 kW DC rapid charging. Under optimal conditions, charging from 10-80% can typically be completed in around 30 minutes, while AC charging supports convenient home and workplace charging.

Inside, the bZ4X features a spacious five-seat cabin with a modern digital driver display, large central infotainment screen and advanced connectivity features. The flat floor layout contributes to excellent passenger space, while the SUV body style provides generous luggage capacity and everyday practicality.
