Nissan Ariya 87 kWh AWD Nismo

The Nissan Ariya 87 kWh AWD NISMO is the performance flagship of the Ariya range, developed by Nissan’s renowned NISMO division. It combines the practicality of a family SUV with enhanced styling, chassis tuning and significantly increased power, creating the sportiest electric Nissan currently available in Europe.

Powered by Nissan’s dual-motor e‑4ORCE All-Wheel Drive system, the Ariya NISMO produces 435 hp (320 kW) and 600 Nm of torque. Performance is strong, with 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.0 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h).

The NISMO uses Nissan’s larger 87 kWh usable battery pack (91 kWh gross) and offers a WLTP range of approximately 259 miles (417 km). While range is lower than standard Ariya variants, the enhanced performance and sportier setup are the primary focus.

Charging is supported via 130 kW DC rapid charging and up to 22 kW AC charging (market dependent). A typical 10-80% rapid charge takes around 35 minutes, while battery preconditioning helps optimise charging performance.

The NISMO version receives unique aerodynamic bodywork, sportier suspension tuning, bespoke alloy wheels and NISMO interior enhancements. These changes improve handling and give the Ariya a more aggressive appearance without compromising day-to-day usability.

The Nissan Ariya 87 kWh AWD NISMO competes with vehicles such as the Tesla Model Y Performance, Ford Mustang Mach‑E GT, Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, and Kia EV6 GT, offering a blend of performance, comfort and everyday practicality with a distinctly Japanese interpretation of the performance EV SUV.
