Hyundai IONIQ 9 Long Range AWD

The Hyundai IONIQ 9 Long Range AWD is Hyundai’s flagship electric SUV, combining three-row practicality, premium comfort and long-distance capability. Built on Hyundai Motor Group’s advanced E-GMP platform, the IONIQ 9 is designed for large families and long journeys while delivering the efficiency and charging performance expected from a modern EV.

Powered by a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system producing 313 hp (230 kW) and 605 Nm of torque, the IONIQ 9 delivers smooth and confident performance despite its large size. It accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h).

The vehicle is equipped with a substantial 106 kWh usable battery (110.3 kWh gross), providing up to 373 miles (600 km) WLTP range. Real-world mixed driving range is typically around 305 miles (495 km), making the IONIQ 9 one of the longest-range seven-seat electric SUVs currently available.

A key strength is Hyundai’s advanced 800V electrical architecture, which enables ultra-rapid charging. The IONIQ 9 supports up to 250-260 kW DC charging, allowing a 10-80% recharge in approximately 24 minutes when connected to a compatible ultra-rapid charger. AC charging is supported at 11 kW.

Inside, the IONIQ 9 offers seating for up to seven occupants with a spacious and premium cabin. Cargo capacity reaches 620 litres behind the third row and expands to over 2,400 litres with seats folded. A 52-litre frunk provides additional storage space.

Practicality is further enhanced by Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality and a substantial 2,500 kg towing capacity, making the IONIQ 9 suitable for caravans, trailers and active family lifestyles.
