Volvo ES90 Single Motor

The Volvo ES90 Single Motor (MY26-27) is Volvo’s flagship electric luxury saloon, combining Scandinavian design, cutting-edge technology and exceptional long-distance capability. Positioned above the EX90 as Volvo’s premium executive EV, the ES90 blends saloon elegance with fastback practicality and advanced 800V charging technology.

Powered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing 333 hp (245 kW) and 480 Nm of torque, the ES90 delivers refined rear-wheel-drive performance. It accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h).

The ES90 Single Motor features an 88 kWh usable battery (92 kWh gross) and offers up to 413 miles (664 km) WLTP range according to Volvo’s UK specification. Real-world mixed driving range is estimated at around 314 miles (505 km), placing it among the longest-range executive EVs available.

One of the ES90’s standout features is its advanced 800V electrical architecture, enabling ultra-rapid charging. The vehicle supports up to 310 kW DC charging, allowing a 10-80% recharge in approximately 22-23 minutes at a suitable high-power charger. AC charging is supported at 11 kW.

The ES90 provides a spacious five-seat cabin with premium materials and Volvo’s latest software-defined vehicle architecture. Cargo space measures 424 litres with the rear seats in place, while the large fastback tailgate enhances practicality. A small front storage compartment provides additional convenience

Practicality extends to towing capability, with the ES90 able to tow up to 1,600 kg braked, making it one of the more versatile luxury electric saloons.
