About the Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD
The Tesla Model 3 Performance AWD is the flagship performance version of the Model 3 range, combining supercar-rivalling acceleration with everyday practicality and long-distance usability. Built on Tesla’s latest Highland platform, it features dual-motor all-wheel drive, upgraded suspension, larger brakes and performance-focused chassis tuning.
Powered by a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system producing up to 534 hp (393 kW) and 660 Nm of torque, the Model 3 Performance delivers exceptional performance. The car accelerates from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 162 mph (261 km/h).
The Performance model is equipped with an 82 kWh usable battery pack and offers a WLTP driving range of up to 355 miles (571 km). EPA estimates are approximately 315 miles (507 km), making it one of the longest-range electric performance saloons currently available.
Fast charging remains a key strength. The Model 3 Performance supports up to 250 kW DC rapid charging, allowing a 10-80% recharge in approximately 25 minutes when connected to Tesla Superchargers or compatible high-power chargers. AC charging is supported at up to 11.5 kW.
Inside, the cabin retains Tesla’s minimalist design philosophy, featuring a large touchscreen interface, premium materials, ventilated seats and advanced connectivity. The vehicle accommodates five passengers and provides generous storage through both the rear boot and front trunk (frunk).
The Model 3 Performance competes directly with the BMW i4 M50, Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, Polestar 2 Performance and premium electric sports saloons, while maintaining Tesla’s advantage of a highly developed charging network and software ecosystem.
