About the CUPRA Raval VZ
The CUPRA Raval VZ (MY27) is the performance-focused version of CUPRA’s compact electric hatchback. Built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB Entry platform, the Raval VZ combines hot hatch performance with impressive efficiency, targeting rivals such as the Alpine A290, Renault 5 E‑Tech and Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce.
The front-wheel-drive powertrain delivers 226 hp (166 kW) and 290 Nm of torque, allowing the Raval VZ to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 109 mph (175 km/h).
Power comes from a 51.7 kWh usable battery (56.0 kWh gross) using NMC chemistry. Official WLTP range is up to 274 miles (440 km), while EV Database estimates a practical real-world range of around 193 miles (310 km).
Charging is supported at 11 kW AC and up to 105 kW DC rapid charging. A 10-80% DC charge takes approximately 24 minutes, while battery preconditioning and Plug & Charge functionality are both included.
The Raval VZ also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) at up to 3.6 kW, allowing external devices to be powered directly from the vehicle battery.
The CUPRA Raval VZ (MY27) is one of the most exciting electric hot hatches arriving in 2026, offering strong performance, rapid charging and compact dimensions while remaining relatively affordable compared with larger performance EVs.
