The Peugeot e‑Rifter Long 50 kWh is a practical electric MPV that combines van-derived versatility with family-friendly comfort. The Long version offers increased cabin and luggage space, with seating for up to seven occupants, making it a popular choice for larger families and active lifestyles.

Powered by a front-mounted electric motor producing 134 hp (100 kW) and 260 Nm of torque, the e‑Rifter prioritises efficiency and practicality over outright performance. It reaches 0-62 mph in 11.7 seconds and has a top speed of approximately 82 mph (132 km/h).

The latest model features a 50.0 kWh usable battery (52 kWh gross) using LFP battery chemistry, offering improved durability and affordability. Real-world mixed driving range is around 140 miles (225 km), while Peugeot quotes a range window of approximately 100-210 miles depending on conditions.

Charging is supported at up to 100 kW DC rapid charging, allowing a 10-80% charge in approximately 28 minutes. AC charging is available at 7.4 kW as standard.

A major selling point is practicality. The Long version provides exceptional interior flexibility, with up to 806 litres of boot space and up to 2,693 litres with rear seats folded. Sliding rear doors and a high roofline make access and usability excellent for families.

The updated model also introduces Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, allowing electrical equipment to be powered directly from the vehicle’s battery via an adapter.
