The Genesis GV60 Magma (MY27) is the performance flagship of Genesis’ electric SUV range, blending luxury craftsmanship, cutting-edge EV technology, and exhilarating performance into a striking all-electric crossover. Developed under the brand’s new Magma performance division, it elevates the already impressive GV60 platform with increased power, sharper dynamics, and a more focused driving experience while retaining the practicality expected from a premium SUV.

At its core is a high-performance dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing an impressive 448 kW and 740 Nm of torque. Instant power delivery to all four wheels enables the GV60 Magma to launch from 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, delivering supercar-rivalling acceleration in a practical SUV body style. With a top speed of approximately 164 mph, it combines explosive performance with effortless long-distance capability.

Energy is supplied by an 80 kWh usable battery pack, providing a strong balance between outright performance and everyday usability. According to EV Database estimates, the GV60 Magma delivers a practical real-world driving range of around 236 miles, making it capable of handling both spirited driving and longer journeys. Official WLTP figures may vary depending on market specification, wheel design, optional equipment, weather conditions, and driving style.

One of the GV60 Magma’s standout strengths is its advanced charging capability. Supporting both Type 2 AC charging and ultra-fast CCS DC charging at up to 264 kW, it can take full advantage of modern high-power charging networks. Under ideal conditions, a typical rapid-charging session can take approximately 17 minutes, helping drivers spend more time behind the wheel and less time connected to a charger.
