Land Rover Range Rover EV550

The Land Rover Range Rover EV550 is the first fully electric version of the iconic Range Rover, combining luxury, refinement and off-road capability with a powerful electric drivetrain. Built on an advanced 800V architecture, the EV550 sits at the top end of the premium electric SUV market and aims to deliver traditional Range Rover comfort with modern EV performance.

Powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system producing 551 hp (405 kW) and 850 Nm of torque, the EV550 delivers impressive acceleration despite its size and weight. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h).

The EV550 is equipped with a substantial 118.5 kWh usable battery (125 kWh gross), providing up to 380 miles (611 km) WLTP range. Real-world range estimates vary depending on conditions, with mixed driving figures typically around 480 km.

Charging performance is among the best in the luxury SUV class. Thanks to its 800V electrical architecture, the EV550 supports up to 350 kW DC rapid charging, allowing a 10-80% recharge in approximately 23 minutes. AC charging is available at up to 22 kW, reducing home and destination charging times significantly.

Luxury and practicality remain core strengths. The cabin accommodates five occupants in premium comfort, while boot capacity ranges from 733 litres to 2,198 litres with seats folded. The vehicle also maintains significant towing capability, with a braked towing limit of 2,500 kg.

The EV550 features adaptive air suspension, electronically controlled damping and a variable ride height system, helping preserve the ride comfort and all-terrain capability expected from a flagship Range Rover.
