About the Ferrari Luce
The Ferrari Luce is Ferrari’s first production electric vehicle and represents a major new chapter for the marque. Designed and engineered in Maranello, the Luce combines Ferrari performance with a practical five-seat liftback body, all-wheel drive and a fully electric powertrain. Ferrari describes it as the most spacious and versatile production car it has ever built while maintaining the brand’s focus on driving engagement.
The Luce uses a quad-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering approximately 1,050 hp (772 kW) and 990 Nm of torque. Each wheel is powered independently, enabling advanced torque vectoring and precise control. Performance is extraordinary, with 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) achieved in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph (310 km/h).
Power comes from a large 117 kWh usable battery (122 kWh gross) operating on an advanced 800V architecture. According to published specifications, the Luce offers up to 329 miles (530 km) WLTP range, while supporting ultra-rapid charging at up to 350 kW DC.
The car’s engineering has been developed entirely in-house by Ferrari. The electric drivetrain, battery pack, active suspension and torque management systems have all been designed to deliver a driving experience that remains recognisably Ferrari despite the transition to electric power.
Inside, the Luce combines large digital displays with tactile physical controls. Ferrari has deliberately retained mechanical buttons, switches and dials alongside digital interfaces to maximise driver engagement. The cabin offers seating for five occupants and a spacious liftback configuration unlike any previous Ferrari road car.
