The Ford Capri EV Extended Range RWD reimagines the iconic Capri name as a modern all-electric crossover SUV, combining long-range capability, sporty styling and everyday practicality. Built on Volkswagen Group’s MEB electric platform and developed alongside the Ford Explorer EV, the Capri offers a more coupe-inspired design while prioritising comfort, efficiency and long-distance usability.

Powered by a rear-mounted electric motor producing 286 hp (210 kW) and 545 Nm of torque, the Capri Extended Range RWD delivers strong performance and refined rear-wheel-drive dynamics. The electric powertrain enables acceleration from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in approximately 6.4 seconds, while maintaining excellent efficiency for everyday driving.

The vehicle is equipped with a 77 kWh usable battery (82 kWh gross), delivering up to 390 miles (627 km) WLTP range, making it one of the longest-range electric vehicles currently offered by Ford. Its combination of aerodynamics and efficient powertrain tuning helps maximise real-world usability on both urban and motorway journeys.

Charging performance is competitive, with support for up to 185 kW DC rapid charging. Under optimal conditions, a 10-80% charge can be completed in approximately 26 minutes, while AC charging at up to 11 kW provides convenient home and workplace charging.

Inside, the Capri EV features a spacious five-seat cabin with Ford’s latest digital technology, including a large movable central touchscreen, digital driver display and advanced connectivity features.
