BYD Seal Excellence AWD

The BYD SEAL Excellence AWD is the flagship performance version of BYD’s all-electric sports saloon, combining impressive acceleration, advanced battery technology and premium equipment. Designed to compete with vehicles such as the Tesla Model 3 Performance, BMW i4 xDrive40 and Polestar 2 Dual Motor, the SEAL Excellence AWD delivers strong performance while retaining the practicality and efficiency expected of a modern family EV.

Powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, the SEAL Excellence AWD produces 530 hp (390 kW) and 670 Nm of torque, enabling exhilarating performance. The electric sports saloon accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 3.8 seconds, delivering sports-car pace alongside the stability and traction benefits of all-wheel drive.

The vehicle features BYD’s renowned 82.5 kWh Blade Battery, utilising lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry for enhanced safety, durability and thermal stability. The Excellence AWD offers a WLTP driving range of up to 323 miles (520 km), balancing strong performance with practical long-distance usability.

Charging capability includes support for 150 kW DC rapid charging, allowing the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 35-40 minutes under optimal conditions. Three-phase AC charging is also supported for convenient charging at home or work.

Inside, the SEAL Excellence AWD offers a premium cabin featuring a rotating 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver display, panoramic glass roof, heated and ventilated seats and a high level of standard equipment. Premium materials and a sleek, minimalist design contribute to a refined driving environment.
