About the BMW i4 M60 xDrive
The BMW i4 M60 xDrive is the new flagship performance version of BMW’s electric Gran Coupé, replacing the previous i4 M50. It combines luxury, long-distance capability and genuine M-car performance, making it one of the fastest electric BMWs currently on sale.
Powered by a dual-motor xDrive all-wheel-drive system, the i4 M60 produces up to 601 hp (442 kW) and 795 Nm of torque. Performance is exceptional, with 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 140 mph (225 km/h).
The vehicle uses an 81.3 kWh usable battery (83.9 kWh gross) and delivers an official WLTP range of up to 342 miles (551 km). EV Database estimates a practical real-world range of approximately 285 miles (459 km), making it highly capable for long-distance driving.
Charging performance is strong, with support for 11 kW AC charging and up to 205 kW DC rapid charging. Under ideal conditions, a 10-80% charge takes around 28 minutes. Battery preconditioning and Plug & Charge functionality are both included.
The i4 M60 retains the practicality of the standard i4, offering seating for five and a 470-litre boot, while providing handling and acceleration that rival many dedicated sports cars.
The BMW i4 M60 xDrive sits at the top of the i4 range and competes directly with the Tesla Model 3 Performance, Polestar 2 Performance Pack, Mercedes-AMG EQE 43, and Porsche Taycan entry models, offering a strong blend of performance, premium quality and everyday practicality.
