About the Jeep Compass Electric 4xe
The Jeep Compass Electric 4xe (MY26) is Jeep’s flagship all-electric compact SUV, combining genuine all-wheel-drive capability with a large battery and long-range touring ability. Built on Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform, it is positioned as the most capable electric Compass yet.
A dual-motor AWD drivetrain produces 276 kW (375 hp) and 577 Nm of torque, enabling the Compass Electric 4xe to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 5.4 seconds while reaching a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h).
Power is supplied by a 96.1 kWh usable battery (102.0 kWh gross) using NMC chemistry. Official WLTP range is 289 miles (465 km), while EV Database estimates a practical real-world range of approximately 285 miles.
Charging capability is competitive, with 11 kW AC charging and up to 160 kW DC rapid charging. A typical 10-80% DC charge takes around 28 minutes, and battery preconditioning is included with automatic activation via navigation guidance.
The Compass Electric 4xe retains Jeep’s SUV practicality, offering a 515-litre boot, seating for five, and a 1,300 kg braked towing capacity. Unlike some rivals, it does not offer Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
The Jeep Compass Electric 4xe (MY26) is aimed at buyers wanting a capable AWD electric SUV with strong performance and touring range, rivaling vehicles such as the Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD, Peugeot e-3008 AWD, and Ford Explorer AWD Extended Range.
